ZDMP is built using existing technology as well as newly built components and zApps. The existing technology comes from the ZDMP partner organisations and some of the previous activities/projects they have been involved in. This includes existing results from: CREMA, C2NET, and especially vf-OS.

Virtual Factory – Operative System (vf-OS) offers manufacturing orientated cloud platform, supporting a multi-sided market ecosystem that provides a range of services for the connected factory of the future, allowing manufacturing companies to develop and integrate better manufacturing and logistics processes.

Cloud-based Rapid Elastic Manufacturing (CREMA) models, configures, executes and monitors manufacturing processes, providing end-to-end support for Cloud manufacturing by implementing real systems and testing and demonstrating them in real manufacturing environments.

C2NET create cloud-enabled tools for supporting the SMEs supply network optimization of manufacturing and logistic assets based on collaborative demand, production, and delivery plans.
