This document assesses which 3rd party platforms are relevant for interlinking with ZDMP and which platform features could be interlinked for mutual benefits. The foundation of this assessment
forms an analysis of the business and technical aspects that comes into play when interlinking ZDMP with a 3rd party platform.

The purpose of deliverable D2.5a: “Regulation and Trustworthy System”, is to provide a first approach to the main legal issues related to data management in smart manufacturing by identifying them, whilst providing an outline on collateral aspects such as the ownership of machine-generated data and cyber security measures in the field of manufacturing industry.

This technical management overview report gives a high-level view of the degree of completion of the development activities of ZDMP project including software security and quality management. It also provides an overview of the methodology followed to produce the software, and comprehensive guidelines to developers to integrate components in the ZDMP platform.

ZDMP sets three standardisation goals: Interaction: Establish contact to relevant groups to receive and provide information; Compliance: Monitor the use of standards in the project to foster compliant results; and Input: Engage in standardisation to exploit project results. This INFORMAL interim M18 deliverable describes how these goals will be reached and how standardisation will contribute to an easier market access of ZDMP and the successful
exploitation of project results across its duration.

This deliverable is the functional specification of ZDMP. The document is structured following the components identified in the architecture specification of ZDMP in D4.3a. This document is the basis for the technical specification, although iteratively build with it.
